Black Panther (film di Ryan Coogler del 2018)

BLACK PANTHER è un film della Marvel comics che prosegue il filone dei supereroi denominati Avengers. Prodotto nel 2018 e diretto da Ryan Coogler, vede oltre al protagonista Chadwick Boseman, scomparso recentemente, attori come Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett e Forest Whitaker. Il personaggio di T’challa, la pantera nera, era apparso in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR del 2016 e poi sarà presente in altre pellicole della Marvel Cinematic Universe.

La vicenda inizia in un periodo remoto della storia, in cui in Africa un meteorite composto di vibranio si schianta a terra e un uomo usufruisce di una forza sovrumana grazie agli effetti di questo fenomeno. Nasce il regno di Wakanda, tenuto allo scuro per millenni, con una civiltà dall’enorme progresso che, a causa di enormi problemi nel mondo, si affaccerà per darvi aiuto. T’challa, divenuto re di Wakanda succedendo al padre, con cui rimane in contatto spirituale, deve scontrarsi con N’jadaka, un uomo di origini wakandiane, ma vissuto per anni negli Stati Uniti, il quale si ritiene il vero re di Wakanda. In un primo momento sconfitto da T’challa, in seguito si prende la rivincita uccidendo quest’ultimo che poi, grazie ad una tecnologia avanzata ideata dalla sorella Shuri, ritorna vita, riprende il proprio posto e si prodiga per fronteggiare le minacce del mondo.

Il film è finora l’unico di supereroi ad aver ricevuto la nomination all’Oscar come miglior pellicola, vincendo comunque ben 3 statuette in altre categorie. Incalzante e con colori vivacissimi, BLACK PANTHER offre spunti di vario genere, andando oltre l’azione e l’intrattenimento.
